Super G+ print film and the image was scanned directly from the negative.
This is a "wide field" view of comet Hale-Bopp reflected in one of our
ponds. The lens was a 50mm (standard) lens at f/1.4. The exposure
time was 40 seconds and the camera was mounted on a normal tripod. This
type of image can be taken with almost any camera with an adjustable
shutter speed.
