October 15-16, 1999. Amy & Casey celebrated Rachael's first birthday (10/18/99) this weekend. All of Casey's family came down as did all of our familiy including my parents. We had a great time eating, drinking, talking, going to a chili festival, and watching Rachael opening presents. Everything worked out almost perfectly except that everyone left early on Sunday because of hurricane Irene. The flooding their area received from Floyd was still not completely gone so it was certain there would be more flooding.
