May 15, 1998. There was basically no change in the amount of the house siding bricked in the past week but the chimney is finished (it is solid brick [except for the flue] and it uses a cube of brick [530 bricks] for every 10 courses!!) and the front porch foundation has started. The front porch has an octoganal "gazebo" looking affair attached to the right corner of the house. The bottom two images show the gazebo part. The gazebo is a regular octagon drawn around the outside of a circle 9 feet in radius (each full side is about 7.4558 feet long). Images from digital camera.
