June 4, 1998. These are some images from around the house. The top two are from the same location with different zoom magnifications to show the house and background. Notice the front porch is starting to take shape. It looks pretty good--I'm ready to sip a Mint Julep out there! I've even got the mint growing out at the house--plants that Gerry M. gave me the last time we visited them in BTV. The bottom row of images shows the back of the house which will also have a screened porch and deck off the first floor. The basement opens out in the back under the first floor. Finally the stairs are in the last picture. These have been complicated because of the very tight fit, 10 foot ceilings, and the fact that I squeezed in a set of basement stairs under these stairs. It looks good and combined with the elliptical arch over the pass-thru I'm pleased with the results.
