In July 1984 my Dad and I traveled to Baffin Island to fish for arctic char. We fished in the Pangnirtung Fjord just a few miles south of the Arctic Circle. We often climbed out of the boat and fished right from ice floes and cooked lunch right in the snow. The fishing was terrific and this is one of the most beautiful, unspoiled places we've ever seen.
